AZV covers transport in specific situations to ensure that an insured person can receive treatment in a safe and responsible manner.
Transport is covered for insured persons who:
- Receive dialysis
- Visit the wound care clinic
- Undergo radiotherapy
- Receive chemotherapy
- Are discharged from the hospital and require stretcher transport
Important:
To benefit from this arrangement, transport requests must be submitted through the Hospital (HOH) or IMSan.
